Susanne Wetzel, geboren 1967, lebt seit neun Jahren in einem schönen alten Küsterhaus in Zentralmecklenburg.

Sie ist klug, schön, geschickt, mitfühlend, musikalisch, hat drei wunderbare Kinder, ein Diplom, ein Haus mit Scheune, noch keinen Doktorhut, auch keinen eigenen Wald, wahrscheinlich bald genug Geld, eine Katze, einen Holzvergaser und eine Axt im Haus.

Seit ungefähr dem Jahr 2000 lebt sie mit ihren Kindern vom Viecher- und Puppenbau.  Ausgestellt hat sie an so schönen Orten wie im "Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe" Hamburg auf der Jahresmesse des norddeutschen Kunsthandwerkes, auf der Grassimesse in Leipzig, in der Galerie Handwerk in München 2005 und 2006, auf dem Weltfilzkongress in Ungarn 2003, bei der Trienale des nordeutschen Kunsthandwerks 2006, in der Koppel 66 in Hamburg, bei der Handwerksform Hannover, auf der Zeughausmesse in Berlin, bei den Nürnberger Ateliertagen 2006 auf der eunique in Karlsruhe 2009 und auf vielen kleinen feinen Messen und Märkten im In- und manchmal Ausland.

Von vier erhofften Preisen (zu mehr Preisverleihungen wurden die Viecher noch nicht geschickt) hat sie zwei gewonnen - den Förderpreis der Koppel66 in Hamburg 2002 und den Max- Oskar- Arnold Kunstpreis 2007 in der "Kategorie 1- beste Puppe" auf einem europäischen Puppenfestival in Neustadt bei Coburg.

Im Grassimuseum in Leipzig wohnt eine Zottelpuppe von viecheria  - wahrscheinlich im Archiv - aber in einem richtigen Lebenslauf wird das erwähnt.

Susanne Wetzel, born in 1967 and grown up in Schwerin, lives with three wonderful children, graduate, canoe and a cat in an old schoolhouse in Mecklenburg. Since her early childhood, she builds everything, including dolls. She has learned many crafts by herself. She learned to forge, willow weaving, sewing and carving. Her main interest was always the three-dimensional representation of something .... And she hold to this interest when she felt the first things. About half a year she researched and experimented to discover the actual felting of figures.

For now 15 years she is building the creatures and puppets, as they are presented here. The sophisticated technology is a guarded secret, which she revealed only in rare courses since last year. Since 2000 she lives with her children as a doll maker and artist - not always the high life but felt mostly rich enough.

With the now distinctive "Viecheria" she took part in many exhibitions and fairs, for example, in the "Annual Exhibition of the North German craftsmanship" at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg in 2006 and 2007, at the "Grassi fair" in the Grassi Museum Leipzig in 2005 in the "Galerie Handwerk" Munich at the exhibition "art playful, artistic game" in 2006 and 2007and in the eunique - international fair for applied art and design Karlsruhe 2009 and 2010.

For her work she got 2002 the art prize of the "Koppel 66" in Hamburg and 2007 the Max-Oscar-Arnold art award for the best doll at the international puppet festival in Coburg.
